About

Constructed in 1882, Turner Hall began as a showplace for the panoramic painters and other German immigrant artists who dominated the Milwaukee art scene until the 1920's and throughout the early 1900's.

It is the only building in Milwaukee that currently holds the three following honorary architectural and historical designations: a National Landmark, a listing on the National Registry of Historic Places, and a local Historical Landmark.

Turner Hall is now the host of a variety of events including civic forums and national touring acts. It also houses a rock climbing gym in the basement and the new Tavern at Turner Hall on the first floor.

Under the management of The Pabst Theater Group, Turner Hall Ballroom has hosted weddings for the past 10 years and continues to provide an exceptional experience for couples.
