Hands down best venue EVER!!!!! Such an incredibly beautiful and unique space! We absolutely LOVED everything about this space. Ann and her team made the planning process so easy to deal with and truly turned our dream into a reality! It was the PERFECT space for us to have our wedding reception and I would hands down work with them again!

I can't say enough about how incredible it was to have our wedding and reception at Turner Hall. From booking to the very end of our wedding night, they knocked it out of the park. Ann was so easy to work with and on top of everything, she and the staff at Turner Hall made everything a breeze. They are just so good at what they do!!! The venue itself is (obviously) gorgeous, which was extra perfect for us as we didn't go super heavy on decor — Turner's beauty handled that for us. Such a great space!!

Turner Hall was the PERFECT venue for our wedding! My husband and I were looking for a venue that had historic charm, and as live music fans, Turner fit the bill perfectly. The entire staff was fantastic to work with — Ann helped with all of the (many) questions we had during the planning process, and our day-of contact helped everything go smoothly (and show us some fun spots for sunset photos). The bartenders were also awesome to work with. From the drinks to the decor options, everything was perfect. We've heard from several guests that it's the coolest wedding they've been to, and we have to agree!

Ann and the rest of the folks at Turner Hall deserve a huge amount of thanks and praise. They went far beyond our expectations as hosts, working behind the scenes to make the day run smoothly. When we first saw Turner Hall, we knew our wedding needed to be there! It was beautiful and the possibilities for wedding ideas were endless. There were the doubters, "Isn't that a place for concerts?", but in the end, Turner Hall was the most complimented aspect of our wedding! Everyone had an amazing time and LOVED the unique venue. All of the staff at Turner Hall was amazing! Everyone was so helpful and seemed to genuinely care about making our wedding the best day of our life. The first time we came across Turner Hall Ballroom was while surfing the internet for a unique wedding venue for our fall wedding. We were blown away by photos of a wedding reception that had taken place there and immediately wanted to see it in person! As amazing as the photos were, they did no justice to the beauty, uniqueness, and character that Turner Hall has to offer. From the stage, to the balcony, and all the little details in between, the possibilities are endless for planning a wedding there! Not only is Turner Hall beautiful, but working with Ann and her staff made the wedding planning experience so much smoother. She helped create a bar package that suited our guests and budget, answered our many, many emails throughout the process, and was able to meet at times that were convenient for us. She was very laid back and easy going, and also very flexible with our set up/take down schedule, as well as dropping things off and picking things up before and after the reception. The staff members were also very friendly and didn’t hesitate to step in to help with some unplanned details. We also received numerous compliments of how friendly and fun our bartenders were! Overall, we would highly recommend hosting your wedding and/or reception at Turner Hall! Our day was perfect and we couldn’t thank Ann and her staff more for their help!

From the very first viewing I knew Turner Hall was the place my wedding vision would come to life. The chipped paint, wood floors, wonky staircases, layered balcony area and stage setting was just perfect! The options for set-up/layout were endless. Initially the thought of several different vendors from catering to linens and more was very daunting, but Ann made it surprisingly easy and manageable. The guests were impressed with the unique wedding venue and surprised at how the old & shabby theater was transformed into a beautiful & romantic ballroom. I was so inspired by the textures within the venue that I carried it through my vintage chic wedding look. Textures took over everything from my bridesmaids dresses, to the lace table linens, sheer draperies and the handmade details! Everything was perfect and just as I imagined it. I wish I could do it all over again. Thank goodness we caught it all on camera & video! Thank you Turner Hall for helping my new husband and I stay organized and on track, coordinating pick-ups and drop offs, and especially for being flexible and accommodating!

Choosing Turner Hall for our wedding reception was easily one of the best decisions we made in our planning process. The place oozes with character, and although it's cool as is, once you add some lighting it is incredible. Suffice it to say we were thrilled with how everything turned out; we will never forget the moment we entered the balcony and looked out over the ballroom to see what the staff had created. Not only did they implement our plans, but they ran with things we left to their discretion that turned out far better than we could have imagined. Both Ann and Ben were very responsive in getting back to us on questions over our year of planning. They were fun to meet with and offered good suggestions that we incorporated into different elements of the reception. The bar staff was also responsive and helpful in working with us to add some extra beers to our lineup. All in all, a fantastic evening we will always cherish, especially knowing it was hosted at Turner Hall. Thanks so much for everything!

We truly cannot say enough about Turner Hall and its employees. From our first meeting to post-wedding cleanup, Ann and her staff were a tremendous resource for us at every stage of the wedding process. Turner Hall's sound technician, Jeremy, also did a fantastic job running the music for our wedding, hitting all of his cues, and even assisting the best man with a multimedia presentation. The rest of the staff was hardworking and friendly as well. It really was a pleasure working with Ann, Jeremy, and the rest of the Turner Hall employees. As for the balroom itself, it really is one of our favorite places in Milwaukee. Turner Hall has a very unique and authentically distressed character that distinguishes it from more traditional ceremony locations. At the same time, the ballroom still maintains a dignified and classic feel that suits the formality of a wedding. Because of its great atmosphere, the ballroom requires little in the way of decoration, although it does accept decorations very well. All told, Turner Hall was the perfect fit for us and our wedding. It's a beautiful building with great character and friendly and professional staff. We couldn't recommend it more!

Our experience with Turner Hall Ballroom was exceptional from the day we got engaged to the day we said “I do.” We instantly fell in love with the historic grandeur, yet trendy character of Turners. We both fell in love with Turner Hall's charm the first time we set foot inside. We couldn't have chosen a more perfect venue for our wedding ceremony and reception--we loved Turner Hall Ballroom for our special day! Our guests kept the compliments pouring in all night about how much they loved the setting. The transformation of the sunlight during the ceremony to the string and pillar lighting for the cocktail hour and reception gave each its own unique ambience. No additional decorations were needed since the space was so beautiful on its own. The balcony was the perfect space for cocktails and hors d'oeuvres as the main ballroom was transitioned; also a great viewpoint for photos. The staff was easy to work with and took care of all the details--even pointed out things we would have missed otherwise. If only we had a reason to throw another party there!

Steve and I have seen countless shows at Turner Hall - it is a "home away from home" for us.
